Cory A. Roberts, M.D. is the President, Chairman and Medical Director of ProPath and directs ProPath’s Division of Gastrointestinal Pathology. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pathology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. Dr. Roberts is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology with subspecialization in Gastrointestinal and Hepatic Pathology. A summa cum laude graduate of Morningside College, Dr. Roberts received his medical degree and completed his residency while serving as Chief Resident in anatomic and clinical pathology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He also completed a gastrointestinal and hepatic pathology fellowship during his last year of training at the University before joining the full time faculty. Dr. Roberts was an Assistant Professor of Anatomic Pathology and Director of the Residency Program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Department of Pathology and Microbiology, where his research centered largely on liver and small bowel transplantation. Dr. Roberts is the author of four books and has written numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, abstracts, and presentations in the field of gastrointestinal and hepatic pathology.
